'Mallard Cottage, what can we say, about the place we decided to stay? The location itself was right on track - with steam trains chugging to Pickering and back - Pleasant walks and wonderful views - good job we brought our walking shoes ! The cottage itself was cosy and warm - beautiful flowers, trees and lawn. our holiday choice was one of the best. We thoroughly enjoyed our well earned rest.'

Mallard Cottage is a character terraced holiday cottage with 2 bedrooms which sleeps 4 and 2 sofas in the lounge. It is child friendly but sorry no pets and non smoking. Fully equipped kitchen with all the usual electric appliances. Lounge has flatscreen TV/DVD. Set in the peaceful rural hamlet of Esk Valley an idyllic location. Open views of ' Heartbeat ' countryside from all windows and the spectacular site of the NYMR steam trains powering up the line.
